A Vietnam Era Air Force Veteran and owner of BevLove Educational Consulting, Dr. Love is honored to share her experiences and perspectives on our society’s views of Intimate Partner Violence. Using vignettes “Broken Heart Strings,” she invites readers to consider their experiences and perspectives on IPV through interactive individual and group activities. The activities offer self assessments and personal paths they could possibly choose to take to get themselves, family and friends to safety.

EXPERIENCE
Dr. Love is a former professor at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, where she taught Public Speaking, Introduction to Mass Communication, and Gender, Race & Class in Global Media. She was assistant professor in the College of Mass Communication and Media Arts, Department of Radio Television at Southern Illinois University (SIU) Carbondale.
